Jace D. Cook, ESQ.
Mr. Cook is the founder of Cook Law and a shareholder.
He graduated cum laude from the University of Oregon
and received his Juris Doctorate from Lewis & Clark
Law School.
During the past eight years he has studied law and gained significant experience in family law, criminal defense, wills, trusts & probate, and business law.

Prior to law school, he lived in Germany and studied principles of European company law, Anglo American law, negotiation, arbitration and dispute resolution at Friedrich Schiller University's School of Law. He also worked in Bosch's legal department.
While in law school, he externed at Stolmár and Partner, an international law firm in Munich, Germany. There he worked on trademark and patent litigation matters. He also externed at Mentor Graphics, Inc. in Wilsonville, Oregon, and Lewis & Clark's Taxpayer Clinic.
In his last year of legal studies, Mr. Cook became a certified law student at Multnomah Defender's, Inc. He won several cases there by going to trial at the Multnomah County Courthouse.
After law school, he worked in downtown Portland for a boutique litigation practice and then a larger law firm, preparing cases for hearings and drafting appeal briefs, before settling in beautiful Lake Oswego, Oregon. Mr. Cook is/has been a member of:

In the summertime, there's nothing he enjoys more than spending time with his daughter rafting the Rogue River, visiting Cannon Beach or hiking along the Columbia Gorge.
Brandon Foy, ESQ.
Mr. Foy graduated from the University of Alaska with a degree in Business Administration. He also attended Western Oregon University where he developed his love of Oregon.

Mr. Foy earned his Juris Doctorate at Lewis and Clark Law School while a memeber of the Oregon Air National Guard. Then he worked as a special prosecutor at the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office and, after that, as Deputy District Attorney at Umatilla County District Attorney's Office before entering criminal defense. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the firm's criminal defense practice and an incredible amount of energy, discipline, and dedication to the practice of law. Outside of work, Mr. Foy's interests include spending quality time with his family, traveling abroad, and negotiating purchases of old commercial buildings and restoring them.
Amy Harris, Legal Assistant
Mrs. Harris, a native Oregonian, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Marquette, a Jesuit university in Milwaukee, Wisconsin renowned for academic rigor and innovation.

After graduation she went into the education field and worked as a teacher at St. Clare's School in SW Portland. Beyond teaching, her talents lie at the intersection of communication, technology, and human resources. In addition to working on the "front lines" at COOK LAW, Mrs. Harris is now an accomplished Yoga and fitness teacher. Her hobbies include hiking, fitness, crossword puzzles and reading.
Taylor Harris, Intern
Mr. Harris recently matriculated at Duke University School of Law and we couldn't be more proud of him. We hope to see him back during the summer months. Mr. Harris graduated summa cum laude from Concordia University where he majored in Business Administration and minored in History.

As a full-time student on academic and athletic scholarships, Mr. Harris qualified for the GNAC all-academic basketball team and was voted student-athlete of the year in 2014. At Concordia, he was president of the Investment Club and interned for U.S. Representative Earle Blumenauer as a legislative staff researcher.
After graduating college, Mr. Harris hit the ground running at the prestigious law firm Schwabe, Williamson, & Wyatt in downtown Portland. When he is not away at Duke Law School, he applies the skills and knowledge he's acquired to a variety of projects, tasks, and assignments at the firm. Outside of work Mr. Harris' interests include working out and aquiring classic rock and jazz music on vinyl to add to his collection.
